A very good morning to all respected teachers, Excellences and my dear colleagues. It is our special day; we are here to celebrate our 76th Independence day. Obviously, I am very happy to deliver this wonderful speech on this great occasion.
I am very happy and grateful to my class teacher and others to give me such a wonderful opportunity to say my views based on our country. In this special event, I would like to deliver an Independence Day Speech on India’s struggle for getting freedom.
Many years ago our great Indian leaders, freedom fighters were made a tryst with the destiny to get freedom from British rule. Also they also sacrificed their lives to give peaceful life to all of us. Now we are here to celebrate this wonderful day without any fear as well as now we see happy faces due to our brave forefathers.
Obviously, we cannot imagine that how the moment or the situation was critical at that time. But now we have nothing to give all our forefathers in return for their sacrifices and hard works.
We only remember them and make a salute to all our freedom fighters in their special day. Obviously, our forefathers would always be in our hearts, after the independence India gets a new life.
India got independence on 15th August in 1947; from that day Indian citizens celebrate this national festival every year with joy, happiness as well as enthusiasm. It is our great day to say thanks to all our freedom fighters.
It was the special day for all the Indians when India’s tricolor flag was unfold by the Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who was the first Prime Minister of India and the flag was unfold at the Red Fort, Delhi.
Every year, many events and celebration take place in New Delhi where the national anthem is sung after the flag hoisting along with the national anthem a salute through 21 guns firing. After that, showering of fresh and colorful flowers through helicopter gives to our national flag.

We pride ourselves to celebrate Independence Day every year. We celebrate this event on 15th of August to remember our freedom fighters. In this day we gathered to remember all the sacrifices of our great. And most honorable leaders who have sacrificed their happiness and lives in getting freedom for our nation.
Every Indian celebrates Independence Day from all over India with joy and much pleasure. As the Indian citizen we need to give great importance to this day.
Also it is the best opportunity for all Indian citizens to remember all those forefathers and freedom fighters who sacrifice their lives to get freedom from the British rule.
Now we enjoy this beautiful as well as peaceful life because of those freedom fighters. Earlier to the independence, Indians are not allowed to eat healthy food, get an education, live normal life etc. And people were treated worse than slaves by the Britishers, even Indian were instructed to fulfill the meaningless orders provided by Britishers. In that situation, some of the freedom fighters of India are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Lala Lajpath Ray, Mahatma Gandhiji, Khudi Ram Bose, Chandra Sekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh. They were popular nationalists who struggled hard and sacrifice their lives for the freedom of India till the end.

Gandhiji was great leader and forefather who taught us about an effective way of freedom in satyagraha, ahimsa methods. And he dreamed of an independent India with full of peace and non-violence.
India is our mother country and we are all the Indian citizens. So we always need to be ready to protect our India from terrorism, bad people.
All the Indian citizens have a responsibility to lead our country ahead as well as we should make our country the best country in the world.
